EME currently looking for suitable candidates to fill the following vacancy:

Refrigeration Motorman

Reports to Refrigeration Engineer. Responsible for monitoring of refrigeration equipment and control room

Minimum Requirements & Duties

• Namibian citizenship
• STW95 F Class 6 Marine Engineer or N3 Trade Diploma in Refrigeration
• Refrigeration Qualification on large industrial refrigeration plants
• Three (3) years of sea-going experience
• Experience in Horse Mackerel industry/Horse Mackerel midwater trawlers is an added advantage
• Responsible for monitoring of refrigeration equipment and control room
• Assist with maintenance of refrigeration system, condition and management of refrigeration plant, temperature control, act upon instruction from Refrigeration Engineer.
• Assist with quality control & supply of refrigeration equipment
• Assist with inputs on technical documentation of refrigeration systems on vessel.
• Knowledge of speaking Russian language is an added advantage
