EME currently looking for suitable candidates to fill the following vacancy:

Electrician

Reports to Chief Electrical Engineer. Maintaining, servicing and installation of electrical equipment.

Minimum Requirements & Duties

• Namibian citizenship
• STW95 F Class 4 Marine Engineering CoC specializing in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Eight (8) years of sea-going experience
• Responsible for servicing and maintaining electrical equipment
• Thorough knowledge of equipment and to be able to service generators, electric motors, switching centers and networks of a current, control station, electric drives,
• Replaces, installs or renews electric equipment when required
• Knowledge of speaking Russian language is an added advantage
