Job Description
A Mining house based in Central Africa is looking for a Environmental Manager for a 2yr Contract period
Duties:
Ensure responsible stewardship of the environment and its people within and around its operations
Requirements:
- Must have a degree in Environmental science or equivalent
- A master's degree in environmental is an added advantage
- Must have at least 12 years' experience in mining environment
- Must have at least 8-years' experience in a supervisory managerial role within the mining sector
- Must have at least 8 years' experience in environmental management systems such as ISO 14001 or similar
- Must have at least 8 years' experience in drafting and implementing international environmental standards in the mining sector
- Proficiency in business English is mandatory. Working knowledge of French will be considered highly advantageous
