An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Finance Manager to join a dynamic automotive dealership environment and play a pivotal role in driving profitability, financial performance and operational excellence across multiple dealerships in the Western Cape

This is a high-impact role for a commercially astute finance professional who understands the motor dealership environment and can go beyond traditional finance to become a trusted business partner to Dealer Principals and senior operational teams

Working closely with the Group Financial Manager, you will turn financial data into actionable business insights, identify opportunities, strengthen controls and help drive sustainable growth across the dealership network. The role covers the full dealership operation, including New Vehicles, Used Vehicles, Parts and Aftersales

A KEY REQUIREMENT

Motor dealership experience is essential, as is strong hands-on experience with Keyloop/Kerridge or an equivalent dealership ERP system

We are specifically looking for someone who understands the commercial realities of the automotive industry and can confidently navigate dealership financials, stock, working capital, debtors, creditors, floorplan funding and operational performance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and rolling financial forecasts across the dealerships
  • Analyse monthly management accounts and financial variances
  • Provide commercial insights and recommendations to Dealer Principals and management
  • Analyse profitability across New Vehicles, Used Vehicles, Parts, Aftersales and other revenue streams
  • Develop and monitor dealership KPIs
  • Support strategic projects, new business opportunities and dealership expansion initiatives
  • Prepare and present monthly financial packs
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, financial controls, policies and audit requirements
  • Manage cashflow forecasting and working-capital performance
  • Monitor debtors, creditors, stock funding and floorplan facilities
  • Strengthen controls around stock, warranty claims and dealership finance processes
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock, Keyloop/ERP records and financial reports
  • Support and develop dealership finance teams
  • Partner with Sales, Parts and Aftersales management to improve operational efficiency

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in financial analysis, management accounting or business partnering
  • Proven motor dealership/automotive industry experience - essential
  • Keyloop/Kerridge or equivalent dealership ERP experience - essential
  • Strong understanding of dealership operations
  • Advanced financial modelling and variance-analysis skills
  • Strong commercial and analytical ability
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong stakeholder-management skills
  • Ability to engage effectively with non-finance managers and senior dealership leadership

CIMA / CA(SA) will be advantageous
