Job Description
A Mining house based in the North West region is looking for an experienced Asset Care Engineer
Duties:
- Responsible for improving the safety, reliability, availability and life-cycle performance of assets
- Developing and maintaining asset-care strategies
- Ensuring critical assets have approved maintenance and condition-monitoring plans
- Monitoring equipment health and escalating unacceptable operational risks
- Improving reliability, availability, maintenance cost and equipment life
Qualifications
- National Diploma / bachelor's degree in electrical / mechanical / industrial engineering
- Government Certificate of Competency will be an advantage
- Certificate in Asset Maintenance / Management or Reliability Centred Maintenance
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, maintenance-management systems and Project management training
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant engineering or maintenance experience in asset-intensive environment
