Our client, an ISP specializing in providing INTERNET, VOICE and HOSTING solutions, is seeking a permanent opportunity for a skilled and experienced Sales Coordinator based in Umhlanga, Durban

Purpose of the Role:

The Sales Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the sales team and ensuring the smooth execution of all sales-related processes. This includes managing administrative tasks, coordinating internal communications, tracking performance metrics, and assisting with customer interactions to help the team meet its sales goals efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support & Administration

  • Prepare and manage sales quotations, proposals, and order forms
  • Track sales orders from initiation through to fulfilment and installation
  • Ensure CRM data is updated accurately and timeously
  • Assist with compiling reports on sales metrics, performance tracking, and forecasting
  • Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and client interactions for the sales team
  • Liaise with clients regarding documentation, billing queries, and service provisioning

Internal Coordination

  • Act as the central point of contact between the sales team and internal departments (technical, billing, support)
  • Ensure timeous communication of sales information, updates, and documentation
  • Help coordinate product launches, promotions, and internal sales initiatives

Customer Engagement

  • Assist with the onboarding of new clients and ensure all relevant documentation is received
  • Follow up with clients to confirm satisfaction, handle non-technical queries, and maintain relationships
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service in all interactions

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Matric Certificate (Tertiary qualification in Business Admin, Sales or Marketing is advantageous)
  • 2-4 years' experience in a sales coordination or administrative support role (ISP/IT sector preferred)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Experience with CRM systems is highly desirable
  • Strong administrative skills
  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to multitask
