KWV a renowned South African brand and industry leader in the production of world-class wines, and other spirits a vacancy for a Graphic Designer, based in Paarl.

Purpose: The designer will be responsible for supporting the design team in execution of day-to-day creative work assigned to the in-house design team, including developing concepts, implementing design strategies, and producing visual aspects for corporate and brand marketing materials, across interactive, promotional, and packaging designs. The ideal candidate is team player who can juggle varied tasks, is detail-oriented, takes direction well, and brings a unique perspective and edge to our creative team
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a mid-level Graphic Designer with a strong focus on packaging design.
- Grade 12 and a relevant qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design or a related field.
- Proven experience within an FMCG environment (advantageous).
- A strong and diverse portfolio showcasing packaging and branding projects, preferably within the beverage or related industries.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Experience with 3D rendering software and multimedia design (advantageous).
- Photography and videography experience will be considered an added advantage.

- Strong creative concept development and visual storytelling skills.
- Advanced graphic design, typography, branding and packaging design capabilities.
- Expert photo editing and image retouching skills.
- Excellent knowledge of print production processes and digital design principles.
- Strong project and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
- Strong presentation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to interpret briefs and translate them into impactful creative solutions.
- Resourceful problem-solving ability with a solutions-driven mindset.
- Sound knowledge of current design trends, media platforms and emerging technologies.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Passion for creativity, continuous learning and innovation.
Job Summary:

- Presenting creative concepts and incorporating stakeholder feedback into final designs.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and introducing creative, innovative design solutions.
