CORE PURPOSE OF JOB
|
|
To support the delivery and continuous improvement of scalable digital literacy and digital capability programmes across the University. The incumbent will contribute to teaching, assessment, and coordination within large-scale modules, using technology-enabled approaches to enhance student learning and success.
The role includes participation in a coherent, institution-wide digital capability pipeline supporting student access, success, and progression, including contributions to programmes such as the Higher Certificate in IT: User Support Services. The incumbent will be expected to contribute to curriculum development and engage in research and academic development appropriate to their career stage.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
|
- Deliver and support teaching, assessment, and feedback within large-scale digital literacy modules
- Apply learning technologies and structured processes to ensure effective delivery across large student cohorts
- Contribute to the coordination and quality assurance of digital literacy offerings and associated programmes
- Assist in the development and refinement of curricula and learning materials
- Monitor student performance and contribute to initiatives that support student success
- Engage in research and academic development appropriate to level of appointment
- Collaborate with colleagues across faculties to support the integration of digital capability into disciplinary contexts

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Requirements
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (progress toward a PhD will be advantageous)
- Relevant teaching experience at tertiary level, including curriculum design and assessment
- Experience using learning technologies to support teaching and assessment
- Demonstrated ability or strong potential to contribute to large-scale teaching and learning environments
- Engagement with digital literacy, digital education, or technology-enhanced learning

- Experience in teaching or coordinating large-enrolment courses
- Experience with structured or technology-enabled teaching, assessment, or administration
- Contribution to curriculum development or course improvement initiatives
