ZI South Africa is seeking a temporary Easyroster Clerk to join our team at the Head Office in Centurion. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing maintenance, integrity, and accuracy of all information processed within the Company’s employee rostering and attendance system. This role requires strict adherence to relevant labor legislation as well as internal Company policies and procedures to ensure seamless operational scheduling and payroll support.

Key responsibilities will include the daily management of roster data, verifying attendance records against scheduled shifts, and collaborating with various departments to resolve any discrepancies. The clerk will play a vital role in optimizing workforce allocation and providing reliable data for management reporting.

 Key Responsibilities will Include:

  • Create and maintain accurate employee records on the Easyroster system , as required for all Operational Staff

  • Create and maintain rosters for all Branches on the Easyroster system,

  • Distribute and upload the planning rosters to Branches

  • In cooperation with the HR Department, create and maintain accurate employee records on the Easyroster system

  • New engagements

  • Terminations

  • Employee detail changes

  • Transferring between sites

  • Update Easyroster with all corrections / hours received from Branches  and capture the daily ER Corrections Templates.

  • Prepare ER Sheets for Import in line with the Company's policies and procedures 

  • Import Actual attendance on Easyroster

  • Distribute and follow up on Weekly / Monthly corrections

  • Auto schedule the monthly planing

  • Attend to attendance queries received from Branches

  • Close of and import Weekly / Monthly corrections hours in line with the Payroll department deadlines

 

Health and Safety:

  • Participate in the design/ development/ review/ implementation and monitoring of the branch/region/national safety plans for each year.

  • Participate in safety forums created by company for example safety meetings and safety talks

  • Report all safety incidents to the relevant people

  • Discuss all safety incidents on all levels

  • Follow-up on any activities assigned through safety meeting/committee/representative/management

  • Attend safety education and refresher programmes

  • Comply with safety policies and procedures at workplace

  • Distribute safety information as and when required

  • Wear protective clothing all the time

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12

  • Easyroster training

  • Previous related experience

  • Excel proficiency a must 

  • Good email etiquette and communication skills

  • MS Office

  • Communication (written and verbal)

  • Supporting and working with others
