Global Mobility Consultant.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To support the delivery of a comprehensive Global Mobility (GM) strategy across the EMEA region. Work collaboratively across various teams and with external service providers to ensure the smooth running of the operational processes, supporting the business and its globally mobile employees and new hires. Seek to continually improve all processes and the quality of output from the team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Accountable for the end-to-end GM services & processes for mobile employees, ensuring a good experience both for the individual and the home and host manager.
- Build, develop & maintain good relationships with key business unit leaders & colleagues.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with external providers including assignment services, immigration, tax, etc. ensuring prompt and efficient service.
- Introduce, maintain & develop the GM framework and policies.
- Understand market trends & best practice in GM, communicate & capture opportunities.
- Understand, communicate & plan for changes in legislation as they relate to GM, such as tax & immigration.
- Support the wider People team with the requirements of the Authorising Officer role re EMEA immigration Sponsor Licences.
- Support & further embed the development of GM as the business acquisiton develops.
- Identify, advise & help manage areas of risk, compliance & reporting related to GM & globally mobile employees.
- Manage annual GM processes and projects, e.g. compliance, compensation, etc.
- Feed into & support processes owned by other teams e.g. expenses.
- Lead, advise and support of one-off GM country and regional business specific projects, as appropriate.
Middle East HR Admin
- Act as the primary HR contact for teams and leaders across the Middle East.
- Provide advice on policy interpretation, and local employment legislation.
- Support the implementation of global HR programs with regional alignment.
- Lead or contribute to regional HR projects.
- Manage and resolve employee issues fairly and consistently with support of HRBP, EMEA.
- Provide administrative support for HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes.
- Maintain accurate HR records, including personnel files, documentation, and HRIS data entry.
- Prepare letters, and documentation in line with company policy and local laws.
- Coordinate benefit administration.
- Support the HRBP and wider team in implementing HR initiatives and compliance processes.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Deep understanding of global mobility strategy, policy and operations in a variety of organisations
- Experience of GM/employment taxes e.g, from a professional services firm, desirable
- Highly numerate and analytical
- Excellent oral and written English
- High level of computer literacy
