Interaction Education are really pleased to be supporting one of our partner schools in their search for a Caretaker on a 12 week temp to perm contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the school site is clean, safe, and secure at all times

• Carry out basic repairs, maintenance, and DIY tasks

• Open and close the school premises as required

• Monitor heating, lighting, and other utilities

• Liaise with contractors and report larger maintenance issues

• Support with setting up rooms and equipment for school events

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Person Specification:

• Previous experience in a caretaking or maintenance role preferred

• Basic DIY and repair skills

• Good communication and organisational skills

• Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
