Assembly Operative – Hitchin, Hertfordshire

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to join a friendly production team within a small, family-run business. The role is well-suited to individuals with a high level of attention to detail and an interest in hands-on, precise work involving small electronic components.

Location: Hitchin, Hertfordshire
Contract: Permanent, 30–37.5 hours per week (flexi-time available, spread over 5 days)
Salary: Dependent on experience and profile

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble small mechanical components and populate printed circuit boards

  • Perform hand soldering of components (training provided if required)

  • Conduct quality-controlled assembly and product testing

  • Pack finished products daily

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace

  • Undertake routine internal training to support ongoing development

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed, hands-on tasks in a structured and supportive working environment. Prior experience in hand soldering or electronics assembly is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
