Job Description:               Granite / Quartz Installer

Location:                           Kettering

Salary:                               £14.50 - £18.00 DOE

Hours:                               Monday to Friday, variable

My client are looking for a Granite and Quartz Installer to join their busy and growing installations team.

They are a key supplier to the kitchen/bathroom trade of stone worksurfaces, walling, flooring, and related products. The position advertised is for a Granite and Quartz Installer to travel between job sites, in order to install the specially prepared stonework to a high standard meeting customers’ expectation. You will be working within the installations team, where you will gain the knowledge of this interesting and varied industry. The successful candidate will be required to work well alongside other trades on site and be able to liaise with customers in a polite, professional manner.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be punctual, polite, and professional
• Have a keen eye for detail
• Numerate
• Have had some experience working on detailed finished product
• Be a good problem solver with a can-do attitude
• Be in possession of a full UK driving license
• Willing to travel

This position is for a hardworking, self-motivated individual who works well in a team. The company is based near Kettering, but work is nationwide. There are some early starts and late finishes.

Experience in the kitchen industry will stand candidates in good stead as will individuals who have spent time as carpenters/joiners or shopfitters.

• Full training provided. Job involves handling of heavy and delicate finished work.
• Full UK Driving License required as day will start and finish at Rothwell, Kettering, NN14 6AA.
• Pay rate based on experience
• Job Type: Full-time. Minimum hours 39 per week, Monday to Friday.
• Additional pay: Bonus scheme based on Efficiency and First Time Right after 6 months of service.
