Interaction Education are delighted to be working on the below role on behalf of one of our partner schools based in Romford. 

Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and organised Attendance Administrator to join our partner schools office team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting student attendance, ensuring accurate data collection, and promoting good attendance across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily attendance and maintain accurate attendance records using the school’s MIS system

• Follow up on unexplained absences and liaise with parents/carers

• Prepare and distribute attendance reports for SLT and external agencies

• Support safeguarding procedures by flagging attendance concerns promptly

• Assist with administrative tasks as required by the school office team

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a school or administrative setting preferred

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and school MIS systems (e.g., SIMS/Arbor)

• A clear DBS check is required
