Cover Supervisor – Secondary School (Temp to Perm)

We’re working with a vibrant and supportive mixed secondary school in Newham that’s looking for a Cover Supervisor to join them from September. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm role – ideal for someone looking to gain classroom experience and grow their career in education.

Role Overview:

• Supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absence

• Ensure students remain on task with the work set by teaching staff

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

• Support the overall learning environment and report progress to relevant staff

About You:

• Experience working with secondary-aged students in a school or similar setting

• Confident, adaptable, and able to manage behaviour effectively

• Excellent communication and classroom presence

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
