Job Opportunity: TIG Welder Fabricator – F1 & Automotive Industry

Silverstone

We are working in partnership with a prestigious client at the forefront of Formula 1 and high-performance automotive engineering to recruit an experienced TIG Welder Fabricator.

This is a unique opportunity to work within a fast-paced, precision-driven environment where the highest standards of craftsmanship and engineering excellence are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out high-precision TIG welding on thin-gauge materials including aluminium, stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium.

  • Fabricate complex components and assemblies from technical drawings, CAD models, and verbal instructions.

  • Work to extremely tight tolerances, ensuring all parts meet F1 and motorsport quality standards.

  • Collaborate closely with engineers and designers to resolve fabrication challenges and refine manufacturing processes.

  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure exceptional quality and consistency.

  • Maintain a clean, organised and safety-compliant workshop environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in TIG welding and fabrication, ideally within F1, motorsport, or high-end automotive sectors.

  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, weld symbols, and fabrication techniques.

  • Experience working with specialist materials used in motorsport and aerospace applications.

  • Skilled in sheet metal work, tube manipulation, jig work, and bespoke fabrication.

  • A meticulous approach to quality, with the ability to deliver consistently clean and structurally sound welds.

  • Self-motivated, professional, and able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative engineering team.
