Salary: £30,000–£40,000 per annum
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Hours: 08:00-17.00 Monday to Friday
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established and family-owned precision engineering firm based in Northampton on their search for a skilled Manual Turner to join their growing team. Our client has been established for over 50 years and due to rapid growth and expansion, they are looking to grow their machining team with a Manual Turner to join their busy team to work on the lathes. - £30,000-£40,000 salary dependent on experience + overtime @ 1.5x

The Role
• Machine components to tight tolerances using manual turning machines
• Ensure all components are machined to a high standard and meet engineering specifications
• Carry out and promote continuous improvements within the production department
• Communicate effectively with engineering and design teams to ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and follow all health and safety procedures
The Requirements
• Previous experience as a manual turner (essential)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (essential)
• A proactive attitude and desire to progress (essential)
• Relevant engineering qualifications (advantageous)
