Distribution Planner
Are you organized, proactive, and passionate about logistics? We are seeking an experienced Distribution Planner to join our client on a temp-to-perm basis. If you have strong geographical knowledge and excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you!
Position: Distribution Planner (Temp to Perm)
Location: Avonmouth
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:30 – 19:15
Pay Rate: £14.40 per hour (equivalent to £30,000 annual salary)
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound calls and support drivers on the road
- Liaise with customer service colleagues to ensure smooth operations
- Respond to emails promptly and professionally
- Arrange same-day specials to meet customer needs
- Plan distribution routes for the following day efficiently
Requirements:
- Strong geographical knowledge is essential
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Previous experience in logistics/planning is preferred
