CNC Miller

A well-established precision engineering company based in Leeds is currently seeking an experienced CNC Miller with hands-on experience operating Haas VF-4SS machines and Siemens-controlled CNC milling machines.

About the Role
This is a full-time, permanent role suited to a skilled CNC Miller capable of machining precision components to tight tolerances. You’ll be setting, operating, and making minor program edits on Haas VF-4SS vertical machining centres and Siemens-controlled milling machines in a modern, well-equipped workshop.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Haas VF-4SS and Siemens-controlled CNC mills

• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings

• Make offset adjustments and minor program edits as required

• Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring tools

• Maintain quality standards across one-off and small batch components

• Keep the work area clean, safe, and organised

• Work independently and contribute to a team-oriented environment

Candidate Requirements

• Strong experience with Haas VF-4SS and Siemens CNC milling machines

• Ability to machine to tight tolerances and fine finishes

• Proficient in reading engineering drawings and using measuring equipment

• Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail

• Experience with low-volume, high-precision work is advantageous

• Reliable, punctual, and focused on quality
