Role: Maintenance Electrician The Client:Interaction Technical have partnered with a leading construction materials group based in Derby on their search for a skilled electrical engineer to join their growing team. Our client operates a network of quarries, concrete and asphalt plants throughout the UK and have now reached a stage of growth where they are looking to add to their Electrical Maintenance team. The Package:• 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays + Holiday Buy Scheme • Company Pension Scheme + Salary sacrifice scheme to increase contributions • Company Life Assurance Scheme • Share Saver Scheme • Company Van + fuel card for all commuting to and from • Access to employee benefits platform (retail discounts) • Broad learning and career progression opportunities with plenty of training on offer The Duties:• Develop and implement a preventative maintenance system • Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance on quarry and asphalt plant equipment (crushers, screeners, loaders, burners etc) • Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently and safely, working with PLC’s, relays and VSD’s • Support plant improvement projects and upgrades • Respond to unplanned plant shutdowns and emergencies • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams, as well as external contractors • Travel to other sites in the Midlands as required The Requirements:• Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience within heavy Electrical Engineering (essential) • Previous experience in a heavy industrial environment (essential) • Strong knowledge of electrical LV isolation and maintenance techniques (essential) • Understanding of medium/high voltage networks and switching methods (essential) • 17th / 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (advantageous) • BS7671 Inspection & Testing knowledge (advantageous) • PLC and VSD experience (advantageous) • Full UK driving licence About Interaction Recruitment: Thank you for taking the time, we hope to speak in the near future.
