Job Title: Steel Erector

(IPAF Ticket Required)
Location: Manchester
Contract Type:  Contract 
Rate: £230-£250 per day 

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Steel Erector to join our client's team on a Contract basis. The ideal candidate will hold a valid IPAF ticket and have a strong background in structural steel erection on commercial and/or industrial sites.

Responsibilities:

• Erecting and installing structural steel components as per engineering drawings

• Operating powered access equipment (MEWPs) safely and efficiently

• Assisting with bolting, welding prep, and alignment of steel structures

• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and complies with health & safety regulations

• Working as part of a team to meet project deadlines

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Steel Erector

• Valid IPAF ticket (3a & 3b preferred)

• CSCS card (essential)

• Strong understanding of site health & safety

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Own PPE and tools (if required)
