PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To provide practical work experience through exposure to various tasks in the Operations division.
|
OUTPUTS /RESPONSIBILITIES
|
Contracts and Commitments:
- Validated approved contracts
- Record new contracts, addendums, adjustments and closures on the register.
- Update the register with expenditure incurred.
- Communicate any issues with the divisions and resolve.
Payments:
- Receive payment packs and record onto the register.
- Validate deliverables supporting the payment in line with the approved contract
- Communicate any issues with the divisions and resolve.
Document management:
- File approved contracts on a central database (SharePoint)
- File approved payment packs on a central database (SharePoint)
Reporting:
- Prepare reports as and when required.
Stakeholder management:
- Assist divisions with queries.
- Alert the divisions regarding contracts that are about to expire.
Ad hoc:
- Assist with ad hoc tasks in the OPDR unit

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Qualifications
Grade 12 and
Honours degree (NQF 8 ) qualification in Accounting/Financial Accounting
Experience
No experience required.
|
