Financial Controller - £80,000 - £90,000 + bonus & benefits – South East (Fully remote)
FryerMiles is working exclusively on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join a growing international group, taking responsibility for financial leadership and oversight across its European operations.
This is a senior finance leadership position within a multi-entity, acquisitive environment. You will play a key role in driving financial governance, improving reporting processes, supporting business performance and ensuring consistency across multiple European entities.
Working closely with regional Managing Directors and senior finance stakeholders, you will provide strategic financial insight while leading and developing a regional finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of accounting, financial reporting and compliance across multiple European entities.
- Ensure adherence to IFRS, local GAAP and group reporting requirements.
- Strengthen financial controls, including revenue recognition, balance sheet management and cash flow processes.
- Drive consistency in accounting policies, reporting standards and financial governance across the portfolio.
- Partner with senior leadership, providing commercial insight and financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Support growth and profitability initiatives through financial performance analysis and strategic recommendations.
- Play a key role in M&A activities, including financial due diligence, integration planning and post-acquisition implementation.
- Lead, mentor and develop a regional finance team, including three Finance Managers.
- Drive improvements in financial systems, processes and reporting efficiency.
- Support the implementation and optimisation of financial systems, including Oracle NetSuite.
About You
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
- 8–10 years' experience in senior finance leadership roles.
- Experience working within a multi-entity or multinational organisation.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS and local GAAP.
- Proven experience overseeing statutory compliance and audit processes across multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience operating within a decentralised, high-growth or acquisitive business.
- Previous involvement in M&A due diligence and post-acquisition integration would be highly advantageous.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems; Oracle NetSuite experience preferred.
