Communications & Engagement Lead - 4 month contract (possible extension) - Hybrid - Corsham - £590 per day
FryerMiles are delighted to be working with a leading Consultancy on their recruitment of a Communications and Engagement Lead to support a high-profile UK Defence project. This role is critical to driving effective business change, stakeholder engagement, and delivering strategic communications across transformation programmes within a complex Defence environment.
Responsibilities include:

Lead the development and execution of communications and engagement strategies for Defence transformation initiatives.

Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing expert guidance on stakeholder management, change communications, and employee engagement.

Design and deliver targeted communications plans to support business change activities and enhance stakeholder buy-in.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Programme Management, Change Management, and Technical Teams.

Manage the creation of high-quality communications content (presentations, briefs, newsletters, digital content).

Monitor engagement effectiveness, gather feedback, and continuously improve communication approaches.

Ensure alignment with UK Defence communications protocols and sensitivities.
Experience and Requirements:

Proven experience as a Communications and Engagement Lead within Business Change and Transformation programmes.

Strong background in Stakeholder Engagement within the UK Defence sector

Strong planning, coordination, and project management skills.

Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

Valid SC Clearance essential

Available to start on short noticer and willing to travel to Corsham 3 days per week
