Security Assurance Consultant - Up to £600 per day Inside IR35 – 12 month contract – Salisbury - Hybrid

FryerMiles are delighted to working with a leading Consultancy based in Salisbury, to assist with their recruitment of a Security Assurance Consultant.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Security Assurance Consultant to join a high-performing team supporting security, risk, and governance activities for cloud migrations and transformation projects. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be working on policy production, risk management, and security governance while also engaging directly with stakeholders to ensure effective security strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security policies, risk assessments, and governance frameworks aligned with industry standards (ISO, NIST).
• Provide Information Assurance and Security Assurance consultancy, ensuring compliance with security best practices.
• Support and advise on cloud security during migrations from on-premise to cloud platforms (Google Cloud, Azure, and other technologies).
• Work collaboratively within a high-performing and proactive team, building rapport and maintaining a positive client relationship.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure security assurance measures align with business needs.

Required experience

• Security Assurance & Risk Management – Experience working in Information Assurance, Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance.
• Cloud Security Expertise – Knowledge of cloud migrations, security within cloud environments, and associated risks.
• Security Frameworks – Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, and other security governance models.
• Team-Oriented Approach – Ability to work in a high-performing, proactive team with a professional and positive mindset.

• Stakeholder Engagement – Strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across teams and with clients.

• Valid SC or DV clearance is required
