1 st Line Analyst - Central London - £28,000 to £30,000 per year - Hybrid 3 days per week on-site
FryerMiles are delighted to be working with an award-winning MSP company to assist with their recruitment of a 1 st Line Analyst to join their team in London.
The successful candidate will have IT experience and a keen interest in delivering excellent first-line technical support, resolving common technical issues, supporting end-users remotely, and escalating complex cases to the L2 team where necessary.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide first-line support to clients via phone, email, and remote tools
- Troubleshoot and support printers, scanners, and other peripherals
- Log and manage cases with third-party vendors, including arranging on-site engineer visits when needed
- Create, update, and manage user accounts in Active Directory and Azure AD
- Configure, and deploy new computers in line with company standard operating procedures
- Provide basic networking support including LAN and WLAN troubleshooting
- Log, manage and own support requests through to resolution or escalation
- Assist with procurement queries, software licencing and general IT advice
- Assist with ad-hoc projects
- Setting up and configuring new desktops, laptops and printers
Requirements:
- Recent 2-3 years of experience in an IT support role, within an MSP
- Degree or qualification in Computer Science, IT or related field
- Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL workflows
- Solid understanding of Windows 10/11 and macOS
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 cloud-based services such as OneDrive
- Knowledge and understanding of DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN
- Good understanding of Active Directory and Azure AD user administration
- A logical thinker with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience supporting remote users
- Ability to prioritise multiple tickets within SLA targets
- A team player with a positive, proactive attitude willing to learn
- Ability to be flexible and work to changing priorities
