Senior Embedded Engineer - Cambridge - Hybrid (2 - 3 days in office) - £60,000 to £75,000 per year

FryerMiles are delighted to be working with a leading manufacturing company to assist with their recruitment of a Senior Embedded Engineer.

The successful candidate will be creating and developing embedded software for the most advanced distributed spectral monitoring systems, with modern C++17 or 20 in user space on a Linux operating system.

Specific responsibilities include:

• All aspects of the full software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, documentation and training.
• Programming high quality software
• Creating functional designs and specifications
• Writing Scripts for test automation
• Reviewing code and providing feedback to ensure quality standards are maintained.

 Requirements:

• Science degree in Computer Science or Electronics
• C++17 or 20 programming skills in a Linux environment
• Linux Shell Scripting
• Python
• Docker
• Git
• Postgres
• Science degree in computer science or Electronics
• Experience in a fast-paced Engineering environment
• RF (Radio Frequency) or similar experience - Highly desirable
• Digital Signal Processing - Highly desirable
