Finance Assistant - £30,000 - £35,000 per year + benefits -City of London - Hybrid (3 days in the office)
FryerMiles are delighted to be working with a rapidly growing fintech firm to aid with their recruitment of a Finance Assistant to join their team based within the City of London.
The successful candidate will be a key player in the Finance team, assisting the Financial Controller in Accounts Payable functions as well as monthly bank reconciliations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Processing and recording supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Supporting the completion of supplier statement reconciliations.
- Assisting with online supplier billing portals and invoice submissions.
- Preparing and updating payment forecasts and supporting payment runs.
- Performing daily and monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all invoices, reconciliations and supporting documents are properly organised.
- Assisting with supplier queries and helping to resolve issues promptly.
- Providing support to the wider finance team at month end, including ad hoc reconciliations and transactional tasks.
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Finance Assistant or Accounts Payable role, ideally with exposure to bank reconciliations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport within the team.
- Strong focus on attention to detail and accuracy, in all aspects of the work.
- Well organised, able to manage routine responsibilities consistently.
- Prior experience with Dynamic365 would be advantagous
