Personnel Selection Recruitment is seeking a Wood Machinist to work for one of our clients based on the outskirts of Andover. This is a standard hours day shift role, no weekends. You will ideally have a background working on wood working machinery such as routers and grinders. We will consider applications from basic machine woodwork skills to CNC programmers and setters.  This will be a 12 week temp to perm role via our agency. At the end of the 12 week assignment, depending on performance, reliability and clients workload, there will be an opportunity for the position to become permanent directly with the client. Our client is actively looking to fill this role as soon as possible due to an increase of workload.

Skills required to be considered

• A proven steady loyal work history.
• Previous wood machining skills...preferably routing machines.
• Physically fit, as this role will involve lifting, bending and repetitive motions.
• Punctual and reliable with a positive "can do" attitude.
• Trustworthy and responsible to handle tools and equipment safely.
• Able to work well within a team.
