About the Role

We’re looking for an English Teacher to inspire and educate Key Stage 3 and 4 students. Starting immediately, you'll teach engaging lessons in reading, writing, literature, and communication until the end of July 2026. Part-time arrangements will be considered for the right candidate. The role will be working in a supportive English department that can offer support to an Early Career Teacher for English or an experienced English Teacher seeking a long term commitment for the rest of the academic year. 

Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Recent experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Enthusiastic about English, with the ability to ignite students’ love for language and literature
  • Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 essential
  • Collaborative, flexible, and dedicated to student progress
