About the Role

We are seeking an inspiring English Teacher to teach Key Stage 3 and 4 students. You will deliver high‑quality lessons in reading, writing, literature, and communication, helping students develop both subject knowledge and confidence.

The role is to start in March 2026 and will run until July 2026, with part‑time options considered for the right candidate. The school are looking to make the role permanent for the right individual from September 2026. 


Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Recent experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
  • Strong classroom management and lesson‑planning skills
  • Passionate about fostering a love of language and literature
  • Able to teach KS3 and KS4 English confidently
  • Collaborative, flexible, and committed to securing strong pupil outcomes
