About the Role

We are seeking a committed Secondary Maths Teacher for a long‑term post starting after the Easter break, continuing through to the end of the academic year in July 2026. For the right candidate, the school is open to offering a permanent position.

You will be teaching Key Stages 3 and 4 Maths, delivering clear, engaging lessons that support strong progress for learners of mixed abilities. Planning support, departmental resources and existing schemes of work are available, allowing you to focus on high‑quality teaching, assessment, and building positive learning relationships. The role is suitable for both experienced teachers and confident ECTs.

Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong background in teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4
  • Confident classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge
  • Ability to motivate and engage learners of mixed abilities
  • Positive, proactive approach and willingness to contribute to a collaborative Maths department
