PE Teacher – Secondary School (KS3 & KS4)

Pay: £160 – £250 per day (dependent on experience)

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed PE Teacher to teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students throughout the summer term. Beginning after the Easter break, this role involves delivering engaging PE lessons that motivate students, promote physical wellbeing and help them develop skills across a range of sports.

The successful candidate will play an important role in contributing to the school’s strong culture of ambition, inclusion and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality PE lessons across KS3 & KS4 in line with the national curriculum
• Encourage participation, confidence and progress in a variety of physical activities
• Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback
• Ensure a safe, inclusive and supportive environment during all activities
• Contribute to whole‑school initiatives and, where possible, extracurricular enrichment

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Degree in Physical Education or a related discipline
• Experience teaching PE at KS3/KS4 level
• Strong subject knowledge and ability to inspire young people
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
