Secondary Science Supply Teacher – Lewes
Location: Lewes, East Sussex
Pay: £130–£160 per day (paid to scale for any long term roles)
Hours: 8:30am–3:30pm
Contract: Flexible daily supply – full time or part time

We are seeking enthusiastic Secondary Science Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming local schools in Lewes and the surrounding areas. Whether you specialise in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or general Science, we can tailor opportunities to suit your subject strengths and availability.

The role will involve:

• Delivering pre-planned Science lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Maintaining a positive, engaging, and safe laboratory classroom environment

• Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies

• Adapting confidently to different school settings

• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed during practical work

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Specialism in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science)

• Strong classroom management skills

• Adaptability and professionalism

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
