Supply Desk Limited has been authorised by a partnered secondary school in Portsmouth to source an English Teacher for a full time temporary position starting ASAP. This is a live vacancy. The school has confirmed that there may be potential for the role to become permanent over time, depending on performance and school requirements.

To receive the advertised pay rate you will need to hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification, have recent experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4, strong curriculum knowledge and the ability to plan, deliver and assess lessons independently.

The Role

We are seeking an energetic and knowledgeable English Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4. You will play a key part in helping students build confidence in reading, writing and analytical thinking, while fostering a genuine appreciation for English.
