Job Description

A well-regarded secondary school in Southampton is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and forward-thinking department, teaching students across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging Maths lessons that inspire students, support progress across a range of abilities, and contribute positively to the wider school community. You will play a key role in helping pupils build confidence in numeracy, develop problem-solving skills, and achieve their full academic potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge in Maths
  • Experience teaching in a secondary school setting
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Committed to high standards of teaching and learning
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
