Full Time – Temporary to Permanent

Salary: £90-£120 per day

Key responsibilities:

• Provide high‑quality assistance that meets the needs of a wide range of special education pupils, ensuring tailored support for their individual learning styles and challenges.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with teachers, support staff, and parents to maintain consistent understanding and promote positive outcomes for pupils.
• Help shape the personal growth and development of students, offering guidance and targeted support in areas where they may require additional help or confidence.
• Support the creation and delivery of engaging, structured routines that inspire enjoyment, build confidence, and encourage continuous progress in pupils’ academic and personal development.
• Assist in implementing personalised learning strategies to ensure pupils with varying needs can access the curriculum effectively.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to monitor pupil progress, adapting support methods to enhance each pupil’s academic, social, and emotional development.
• Promote a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where pupils feel supported, valued and encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate:

• Has experience, and enjoys working with children in a SEN environment
• Can bond with students, and parents in order for development and growth through routine
• Is happy working closely with a team of hard-working staff
• Has the ability to adapt to the needs of different students
