About the Role

Supply Desk are looking for a caring, motivated, and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work across our network of partner schools in Brighton and Hove. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to support pupils with a range of learning needs, helping them to feel confident, engaged, and ready to thrive in the classroom.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups to access learning.
  • Helping children with communication, emotional regulation, and behaviour, ensuring they stay focused and positive in class.
  • Assisting teachers in delivering inclusive and engaging lessons.
  • Adapting support according to individual learning needs, promoting confidence and independence.

About You

You will be a nurturing, proactive, and patient individual who enjoys supporting children’s development. We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential).
  • Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team.
  • Can adapt to different classroom environments and support needs.
  • Shows genuine enthusiasm for helping pupils succeed.

Requirements

  • References covering the past 2 years.
  • An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • Minimum experience, training, or qualifications as specified to meet the role criteria.
