Salary: £34,398 – £52,490

About the Role:
Are you passionate about bringing English to life and fostering a love of literature, writing, and critical thinking? Supply Desk is working with a range of welcoming secondary schools in Hemel Hempstead who are seeking a dynamic English teacher to deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities available in some settings.

You will plan and deliver high-quality lessons, assess student progress, and support the development of confident, articulate learners in a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Has strong subject knowledge in English Language and/or Literature
• Is confident teaching across KS3 and KS4
• Demonstrates effective behaviour management
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
