EYFS Class Teacher

Location: Eastleigh

 Start Date: April 2026

Contract: 5 days per week, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM- a class share may be considered  

 Pay: Paid to scale (£168 – £233 per day)

About the Role:

An average sized Primary School within Eastleigh  is seeking an experienced EYFS teacher starting March 2026 (or February). This is a role with full class teacher responsibilities, initially until the end of the academic year but could be extended.

You will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing using Seesaw and Tapestry. You will be working closely with a year group partner and a full time LSA. There is a large outdoor exploratory area to support EYFS learning goals.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified and experienced EYFS Teacher
  • Confident in managing classroom routines and expectations.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Skilled in adapting teaching to meet a range of pupil needs, including SEND

Requirements

  • UK-recognised teaching qualification.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
  • Compliance with DfE and Safer Recruitment standards.
