The Role

We are looking for an inspiring KS1 Teacher to teach across Year 1 or Year 2. This is a full-time role beginning ASAP with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. You will be responsible for planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons that support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality and engaging KS1 lessons across the curriculum
  • Support pupils’ learning, progress, and well-being
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom atmosphere
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and teaching assistants
  • Foster strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Follow school policies and behaviour management procedures

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant primary teaching qualification
  • Strong understanding of KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A caring, creative, and adaptable approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
