Inclusion Teaching Assistant (Full Time) at a specialist secondary provision in PortsmouthLocation: Portsmouth About the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate and resilient Inclusion Teaching Assistant to join a specialist Inclusion Centre within a secondary school setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students aged 11 to 16 with Education, Health and Care Plans, helping them to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. You will work closely with teaching staff and the SEN team to provide tailored support, both individually and in small groups. The role focuses on supporting students with complex cognition and learning needs within a structured and nurturing environment. About the SchoolThe provision is part of a secondary school with a strong commitment to inclusive education and equal opportunities for all learners. The Inclusion Centre supports students who require a more personalised approach to learning and development. The setting offers small group support and a child centred approach, ensuring that each student’s strengths and next steps are recognised and developed. Staff work collaboratively to support emotional wellbeing, engagement, and academic progress.
