SEN Teaching Assistant – Denham 
Primary School | Long-Term | Full-Time/Part-Time

Pay: £85 – £100 per day

A warm and inclusive primary school in Denham is looking for a dedicated and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a nurturing and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEND, including ASD, SEMH, and MLD
• Assist in delivering differentiated lessons under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Support the implementation and review of EHCPs alongside staff and external professionals
• Use a variety of strategies to support communication, emotional regulation, and behaviour
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Experience supporting children with SEND in a primary or specialist setting (preferred but not essential)
• Patient, adaptable, and passionate about inclusive education
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable supporting personal care and sensory needs when required
• Committed to safeguarding, continuous learning, and collaborative working
