1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant / Support Staff Opportunities – Rickmansworth

Positions Available: Primary, Secondary & Special Needs Schools

Supply Desk, in partnership with local schools in Rickmansworth, is seeking passionate and dedicated 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistants to join our growing team. Whether you have experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, learning disabilities, or other additional needs — or you are looking to begin your journey in education — we have a variety of roles to match your skills and career goals. Requirements

  • Previous experience in a school-based support role (desirable but not essential)

  • Understanding of SEN strategies to support students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning needs

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and behaviour management skills

  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive, meaningful relationships with students and staff

  • Flexibility to adapt across different school settings and SEND environments in Rickmansworth
