About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join a secondary school setting, teaching French and Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students to develop a passion for languages and broaden their cultural understanding.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high quality lessons, supporting students to build confidence in communication and achieve strong academic outcomes. This role is suitable for both Early Career Teachers and experienced teachers.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging French and Spanish lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Inspire students to develop a love of languages and cultural awareness
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching where required
• Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
• Contribute to curriculum development within the MFL department
• Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents or carers
• Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment


Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
• Ability to teach both French and Spanish
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for languages
• Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to high standards and student achievement
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
