We are currently seeking a passionate and adaptable Supply Maths Teacher (Secondary) to support schools across Heathfield. Applications are warmly welcomed from experienced teachers as well as ECTs (Early Career Teachers).

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and follow each school’s curriculum.
  • Teach various topics across the Maths curriculum
  • Maintain strong classroom management and promote a positive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress in line with school policies.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, pupils, and parents where required.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge across the Maths curriculum.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive approach.
  • A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
  • Competitive daily rates (£130–£145 for daily supply).
