Your Role in Hemel Hempstead Schools

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support teachers in delivering structured and engaging lessons

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support

  • Assist with classroom behaviour management

  • Encourage student participation, confidence, and academic progress

  • Help prepare classroom materials and assist with administrative tasks

You will play a key role in creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for students across Hemel Hempstead.
