Are you a bold, imaginative Art Teacher with the drive to inspire creativity and self-expression in every student? A dynamic secondary school in Milton Keynes is on the lookout for a visionary educator to bring their passion for the visual arts into the classroom and beyond.

This is more than just a teaching role — it’s an opportunity to ignite a lifelong love of art, push creative boundaries, and help young people find their voice through visual storytelling.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Delivering high-impact, inspiring Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (potential KS5 opportunities available).

  • Bringing the curriculum to life through bold ideas, hands-on projects, and cross-disciplinary connections.

  • Creating a vibrant, inclusive studio environment where every student feels confident to explore and create.

  • Leading exciting projects, exhibitions, and enrichment opportunities that showcase student talent and build cultural capital.

  • Using innovative teaching techniques, including digital media and contemporary practice.

  • Supporting wider school events and contributing to a thriving creative department.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

  • Holds QTS (or is working towards it) and has a degree in Art, Fine Art, Design, or a related subject.

  • Has a strong portfolio of creative practice and a passion for sharing it.

  • Can deliver both traditional and modern techniques — from sketching to sculpture, photography to digital design.

  • Brings energy, enthusiasm, and fresh thinking to the classroom.

  • Builds strong rapport with students and promotes confidence, independence, and creative risk-taking.

  • Has excellent organisational and communication skills, with a commitment to professional growth.
