Salary: £29,344–£44,919

Your role is helping them express them clearly.

As a Secondary RE Teacher, you will guide KS3 and KS4 students through structured discussion, reasoning, and written responses.

Key responsibilities
Teach Religious Education across KS3 and KS4
Guide structured discussion and debate
Support written responses and exam preparation
Teach ethical and philosophical topics
Track progress and provide feedback
Maintain respectful classroom environments

The classroom environment
Discussion is structured and purposeful
Students listen and respond clearly
Lessons are organised
Behaviour is calm

Skills and experience
Experience teaching RE or humanities
Strong communication skills
Ability to manage discussion
Structured teaching approach

What success looks like
Students explain ideas effectively
Written work improves
Confidence grows

QTS is desirable; unqualified teachers are welcome to apply, particularly those with Theology, Philosophy, or humanities backgrounds
