We are currently seeking a passionate and adaptable Supply Drama Teacher (Secondary) to support schools in Eastbourne and the surrounding areas. Applications are warmly welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

About the Role
Are you a creative and inspiring Drama specialist with a passion for building confidence, communication, and performance skills in young people? We are looking for an enthusiastic Supply Drama Teacher to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging and well-structured Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Adapt quickly to different classroom and performance environments and follow each school’s curriculum
• Teach a variety of Drama techniques, including improvisation, scripted performance, devising, and stagecraft
• Encourage creativity, collaboration, and confidence through practical performance activities
• Maintain strong classroom management and promote a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor and assess pupil progress in line with school policies
• Communicate effectively with staff, pupils, and parents where required

Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Drama within a secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge across the Drama curriculum
• Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive approach
• A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
